About Me

Hi there!

I’m Vilma Estrada, and I would love to share a bit about my journey with you. In March 2024, I made a bold decision to quit my job without a plan or knowing my next step. I was the General Manager of a boutique for a renowned global luxury Italian brand. While I took pride in my accomplishments over a 15-year career in luxury retail management, I had grown tired of the routine and the incompetence around me. In hindsight, I’m grateful for that ignorance; it highlighted that I was too good to be there.

After leaving my job, I considered recalibrating my career—perhaps focusing on another brand or even starting a consulting business. I enjoyed connecting with people, orchestrating projects, and pushing others to grow. Yet, I realized that those days would no longer be enough for me. I no longer felt driven by my work, and frankly, I was bored.

Now, I am an artist, painting primarily with oil and acrylic. Most of my work features portraits of nude women, but I also explore other subjects. I love almost any kind of art and would describe my style as contemporary, sometimes abstract, and always infused with emotion. I pour my thoughts, feelings, energy, and motion into my pieces, creating a deep connection that resonates when you’re near them.

It’s humbling to share that I never imagined I would retire from retail entirely to pursue my dream of selling my art for a living. Yet, here I am, grateful for the journey and excited to share the realization of that dream with you.

Thank you for visiting my site and experiencing my art. I hope you enjoy viewing my work and perhaps even find one that speaks to you enough to bring it home!

Xo,
Vilma Estrada
